today something REALLY REALLY HILARIOUS HAPPENED.
i shall now attempt to recount it although i'm not very good at telling stories.

i was waiting at the steps for my mother with melissa and charlotte and after calling my mom's handphone for the gazillionth time, someone decides to pick up
my sister is on the other end, and she tells me my mom's at my grandpa's house, before hanging up on me

So i gladly dialed my grandpa's house when suddenly, my grandma picks up on the other line and i realise:
HOLY SHAZNAT, I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SPEAK HOKKIEN!!!
So i hastily hang up going shitshitshitshitshit

Then, melissa comes to my rescue, because she knows how to say "Where is my mother?" in hokkien!
I dial my grandpa's number again, and again, my grandma picks up.
But then, i get cold feet and thrust the phone in melissa's face, gesturing for her to help me converse with my grandma
And melissa smartly goes: "WA EH LAO BU LEH?"

she pauses, and i can hear my grandma on the other line.

Melissa gives me this what-the-hell-is-she-saying look,
then she hollers again: "WA EH LAO BU LEH?!?!"
this is when me and charlotte double over in laughter.
After a realllllllly long time talking to my grandma (god knows what they were talking about), Melissa hangs up and goes "oh, i think your mom is on the way"

Also, i think i suck at telling stories because i don't find it very funny anymore, but it was, THEN.
