i mean, if you're like the oldest child, you havr a lot of pressure to do well.
and if you're the youngest, you probably have a lot of attention and end up spoilt.

so if you're the middle child, you get a bit of both so you won't be overly-pressurized or overly-spoilt.

i think people have this like false impression that being the middle child is really unlucky

its all malcolm in the middles fault he keeps moaning about being stuck in the middle, but in the end he ends up in HARVARD and later becomes the PRESIDENT of the united states.

and then reese his stupid older brother ends up as a JANITOR in his former high school.
